Kakao Talk brings free calls to your desktop application for Windows

Like Skype, Kakao Talk has started from this week to offer free calls via your desktop application for Windows, in which users can establish conversations one-on-one and also in groups of up to five participants.

Recall that the desktop application for Windows was released in the month of June 2013, while the desktop version for Mac was released more recently, just in the past month of May of this month. Both desktop applications have jointly earned about 30 million downloads, according to the company, although it remains to know is when Mac free calls to be launched.

But free calls for Windows is one of the new, the other being the launch of a new design, which allows users to customize their conversations across subjects, as could already be performed through mobile applications.

This growing competition of services that promotes the use of free calls at the desktop,although as discussed at the time , and allowed free calls between users through its mobile applications for the month of May 2012.
